Anno 1404 is a single and multiplayer city-building, business simulation, real-time strategy video game released on 23 June, 2009 in North America, and on 25 June, 2009 in Europe for Windows, Mac OS X, Nintendo DS and Wii. It was developed by Related Designs and published by Ubisoft. Anno 1404 full game is the sequel to Anno 1701.

Gameplay / Walkthrough:

The gameplay of Anno 1404 free game is particularly similar to that its predecessors. The game allows you to build islands, carry settlements, designs factories and farms, so as to fulfill the needs in the city. You’re given an opportunity to join navy to fight against others. Your main focus is to construct Gothic cathedral and an Arabic mosque. You’ll have to plan first, to build these two monuments. Furthermore, you’ll need building material to construct it. If you’ve constructed castle/palace in Anno 1701, then it will be no problem for you to construct the cathedral.
Your progress in the game somehow relies upon the trade. If want to be successful in making occidental population, you’ll need Spice, and later Quartz which is only possible to be generated in Oriental lands. Even though populations generate taxable income, it is hard to generate enough gold to make meaningful capital investments without extensive trading. You can do this by a simple automatic trading process. That way, the game allows you to make resources available to visiting merchant ships.
