To download and buy apps from the App Store, you need an Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the account that you use to access Apple services. If you use other Apple services such as iCloud, sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID. If you don't have an Apple ID, you can create one.

If you're in the App Store on any of your devices and see the download button near an app, you already bought or downloaded that app. When you tap or click the download button , the app is downloaded to your device again, but you are not charged again. You can also see a list of apps that you purchased, and redownload them.

If you want to find specific information about an app, such as what languages the app is available in, the app’s file size or its compatibility with other Apple devices, scroll to the bottom of the app’s page. You might be able to tap some sections to find out more.

• If you have an app charge that you don't recognise, check your previous purchase history. If you still don't recognise the charge, you can report a problem or contact Apple Support.
• For recurring charges from an in-app subscription, learn how to view, change or cancel your subscription.

After you subscribe to Apple Arcade, you can download any Apple Arcade game for no additional charge:

Play games

You can download as many Apple Arcade games as you want and play as often as you want. Once you subscribe, there are no additional purchases needed in Apple Arcade games.

You can play games with just your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Apple TV. If you see a controller icon on the app's page, the game has controller support for that device. You can use a game controller to play most games, even if they don't require it. Some games on Apple TV require a controller to play.
